The Oregon Clinic Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine Division is opening a new Sleep Center this fall. We are hiring day time staff members to join our AASM Accredited Sleep Centers located in Gateway and Happy Valley. This position is 40 hours and will work Monday - Friday from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Coverage at both locations will be required.
The Polysom Tech will primarily be responsible for scoring studies under the general supervision of the Medical Director and/or Durable Medical Equipment (DME) set-up. The ideal candidate must be dedicated to providing the highest quality patient care and be passionate about the field of sleep medicine. Starting pay range, based on experience: $24.25 - 28.89 per hour
3 - 5 years of night-shift experience required
Experience with DME preferred
Must have current Polysomnography license in the State of Oregon
Current BLS certification
Prior experience using EMR
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong commitment to highest quality patient care and privacy guidelines
Ability to thrive while working individually and in team environments
