Schedule: Full-Time, 6:00 PM-6:00 AM, 3 Twelve hour shifts per week, Rotate From Sunday, Monday, Tuesday-Wednesday, Thursday, Friday rotation
In a career as a Sleep Lab Technologist II , you join us in providing life-changing care to patients from across the region. In this role, you will provide direct patient care independently and safely operating sophisticated medical equipment to record sleep/wake stages, respiratory events, cardiac events, limb movement and other clinical events of patient care. Score sleep studies in accordance with national standards.
Provides for the assessment and evaluation of the appropriateness and effectiveness of diagnostic testing based on patient’s age, cognitive and physical abilities and/ or developmental needs. Is responsible for communication to the physician of patient data.
Initiates and monitors overnight testing procedures in accordance with American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
Scores sleep studies and maintains a minimum inter-scorer reliability score of 85%.
Registered respiratory therapist, a registered polysomnographic technologist certification, or a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist with Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist.
Previous Sleep lab experience required.
Greater than one year of sleep study scoring required.
Previous pediatric experience, preferred
BLS certification required
PALS & ACLS certification, preferred
