Job Summary:

This position is responsible for direct oversight of the day-to-day operations of the department's Sleep and PFT laboratories.  Will hire and direct the activities of all clinical support personnel including technicians and clerical assistants.  Fiscal responsibilities include budget preparation, monitoring of expenses, new program planning and development.  In the first two years, you will be a key member of the planning team charged with ensuring that the current sleep laboratory will be accredited as a Sleep Center.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Certification/Registration as a Polysomnography Technologist and Pulmonary Function Technician.
• Experience in supervising similar laboratories; a major sleep center ideally.
• Five or more years of experience in the Pediatric Respiratory, Sleep and Pulmonary Function setting.
• Requires excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills.
• Must be a self-motivated and independent thinker able to present a vision for future of the Sleep Center to all levels of management as well as outside professional organizations.
