Performs electroneurodiagnostic technician duties proficiently. Duties may include attaching monitoring equipment to patients, observing and accurately documenting recordings, participating in patient/family education and orientation to the neurology department and various procedures. Ensures safety throughout a patient’s stay.
High School/GED Required
Degree in Neurodiagnostics or related field preferred.
Minimum Work Experience
Previous experience in pediatric electro-diagnostics preferred
Required Licenses/Certifications for position
Must hold credentials from The American Board of Registration for Electrocephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) or be a Registered Polysomnography Tech. .
Required to maintain BLS certification.
