AdventHealth Manchester is looking for dynamic and hard-working a family or internal medicine physician to join our team in Manchester, Kentucky. The new physician would join our primary care team and help to grow our outpatient presence in new markets in the area.
The ideal candidate will be/have:
Active KY medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure)
Board Certification in Family or Internal Medicine (or Board Eligibility within 3 years of completing a US based residency program)
Comfortable with all aspects of Family or Internal Medicine, with a focus on Skilled Nursing Facility care management
Proficiency with minor office-based procedures including, but not limited to: joint injections, minor dermatologic procedures, basic gynecologic care preferred
Ability to effectively communicate with all segments of our population, including presenting at health fairs
Experience with supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APRN & PA-C) or willingness to oversee advanced practice providers is required
Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include early morning and/or evening hours to meet requirements for patient access
