The role you’ll contribute:
The Neurodiagnostics Technical Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily technical operations of the department. Provides professional and technical support to staff, physicians, and managers to ensure efficient daily departmental operations. Develops and measures staff competencies, productivity standards, and quality assurance standards. Assures compliance with applicable departmental, hospital, and regulatory policies, procedures, and guidelines. Analyzes workloads/workflows and assigns staff to meet demand and improve operational efficiency. Performs procedures as needed. Performs clipping procedures, as needed. Establishes and maintains ethical working relationships and good rapport with stakeholders, such as physicians, hospital staff, and commercial agencies. Meets with customers, partners, and team members to assure service levels are maintained. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Adheres to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and to rules and regulations of applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.

Supervisory Responsibilities
- Supervises daily operations and provides technical supervision of staff in neurodiagnostics to assure effective and efficient provision of quality diagnostic procedures following the established protocols

- Ensures the safety of patients, employees, and visitors.
Quality Assurance
- Actively supports and participates in department and hospital quality improvement initiatives. Participates in process and performance improvement.
Communication/Cooperation
- Meets regularly with manager, actively participates on assigned teams, shares information with staff, assists with staff meetings, and attends other meetings as requested.
Customer Service
- Develops and participates in employee engagement and patient satisfaction initiatives. Utilizes patient recovery resources when appropriate.
QualificationsThe expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Minimum general Associate’s degree, preferably in healthcare related field; supervisory or leadership experience may be substituted on a year-to-year basis
- Minimum five (5) years END technical experience
- Minimum one year supervisory or leadership experience
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
- Certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist through the American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM) OR Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) OR Certification as a Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist through the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic & Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) OR equivalent.
