Atlantic Health System is seeking a FULL TIME Neurodiagnostic Tech II at Morristown Medical Center for the Neurodiagnostic Lab working 8AM-4PM shift primarily 5 times per week with weekends as required.
As a Neurodiagnostic Technologist, studies performed will encompass: routine/sleep deprived EEGs, long-term monitoring including Video EEGs/Ambulatory EEGs, monitoring during WADA procedures, invasive monitoring with intracranial grids/strips.
Will work with a wide variety of hospital environments and patient types including: neonate through adult patient populations, Neuro ICU, Neonatal ICU, Pediatric ICU and Behavioral Health environments.
Employees must be able to work independently as well as in a team setting.
Responsible for both live and intermittent monitoring of VEEG patients.
Must be competent in seizure pattern recognition for all patient populations.
Must be skilled in their ability to provide a technologist's impression of their studies and be able to relay pertinent information to their partnering physicians.
Graduate from an accredited Neurodiagnostic Program
Must have R. EEG T. registration from the American Board of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists
HS Diploma Required
Minimum of 1 year clinical experience required, 2+ years of clinical experience preferred
