Supervise and coordinate schedule for the group ensuring pr operdistribution of assignments, adequate staffing, space and facilities forsubsequent performance of duties.Maintain competencies for a variety ofcomplex specialized proceduresincluding but not limited to electroenc ephalograph, evoked potential,epilepsy monitoring, Trancranial Doppler andpolysomongraphy.Coordinate, develop, and implement departmental polici esand procedures.Maintain liaison with medical, nursing and other hospit alpersonnel.Assist in the evaluation of capital purchases and lab suppli es.Assist in determining fiscal requirements and preparing budgetaryreco mmendations; monitor, verify and reconcile expenditure of budgetedfunds. Serves as a liaison and resource to staff, fellows, and attendingphysici ans for equipment used in daily operations.Train and instruct personnelon technical procedures performed in thedepartment.Perform various perso nnel actions including, but not limited to, hiring,performance appraisal s, promotions, disciplinary actions and vacationschedules.Assist with th edepartmental accreditation process.Perform other related duties inciden tal to the work described herein.

Education
Prefer a Bachelors degree in biology, physiology, psychology, or related field.
Experience
Work requires 3 years of experience in Neurodiagnostics including but not limited to EEG, Evoked Potentials, Epilepsy, PSG and TCD's. Prefer at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
