As a Sleep Center Care Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing direct and indirect care to patients undergoing procedures in the Sleep Center Department and various areas of the hospital.
Your responsibilities will include performing sleep medicine procedures like sleep studies, monitoring patients during tests, recognizing and responding to adverse reactions and emergencies, providing patient and family education, and troubleshooting equipment issues.
Additionally, you will be tasked with coordinating patient care with team members, participating in department and hospital projects, and ensuring that emergency equipment is always ready for use.
Your attention to detail and quick response to clinical issues will be critical in maintaining a safe and efficient environment for patients. This role offers a unique opportunity to directly impact patient care and contribute to the improvement of healthcare services within the hospital setting.
