Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Sleep Technologist to join our advanced primary care team. In this role, you will be instrumental in assessing, diagnosing, and managing sleep disorders as part of an integrative care approach that emphasizes patient-centered, preventive care. You will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team focused on enhancing patient outcomes through both traditional and technology-enabled healthcare practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive sleep studies and monitor patients’ sleep patterns using state-of-the-art equipment in a comfortable and supportive environment.
- Review, analyze, and document sleep study data to provide accurate and actionable insights for diagnosis and treatment.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to create personalized care
- Educate patients on sleep health, lifestyle adjustments, and treatments to improve sleep quality and manage chronic conditions influenced by sleep.
- Maintain accurate, organized patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system and ensure adherence to regulatory standards and safety protocols.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the quality of sleep services and contribute to our comprehensive, advanced care model.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sleep technology, polysomnography, or sleep study administration will be a plus but not required
- Proficiency in sleep study equipment, including setup, monitoring, and data analysis.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic data analytics in healthcare.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to patient education and support.
