Job SummaryPerforms comprehensive polysomnographic testing and analysis, and associated interventions under the general oversight of a Lead Polysomnographic Technologist and the clinical director or designee. A Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, RPSGT can provide supervision of a Certified Polysomnographic Technologist, CPSGT.Job DutiesGathers and Analyzes Patient Information Testing Preparation Procedures: Prepares and calibrates equipment required for testing to determine proper functioning and make adjustments, if necessary.Polysomnographic Procedures: Follows procedural protocols to ensure collection of appropriate data.Polysomnographic Record Scoring: Scores sleep and wake stages by applying professionally accepted guidelines.
