Audiologist Opportunity

Prisma Health Midlands is seeking an Audiologist to join an established ENT/Audiology practice located in Columbia South Carolina.  Candidates must be proficient in all types of audiometric testing (BOA, VRA, CPA), as well as OAEs, and ABRs (under sedation and natural sleep). Interest in cochlear implants is preferred but not required.  Candidates must be strong team players and have 2 years’ experience. 

Job duties include:

• Provide diagnostic audiological evaluations, OAEs and Tymps for physicians to a varied population ranging from infant to geriatrics.
• Providing brainstem evoked response testing on patients either sleep deprived in our office or under monitored sedation in the operating room or sedation unit
• Dispense hearing aids and provide excellent counseling regarding family and user expectations.  Maintain familiarity with hearing aid technology and manufacturer’s software.
• Collaboration within the Audiology department to evaluate hearing aid dispensing activities and the marketing aspects of the clinic.
